BTSS Charity of the Year 2025/26 - Birmingham Solihull Women’s Aid

 

The BTSS Committee are pleased to announce that Birmingham Solihull Women’s Aid will be our chosen charity of the year!

 

Birmingham Solihull Women’s Aid are a Birmingham based charity that supports women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse. Everyday their trained team of workers provide emotional and practical support to work towards a future for all women in which inequality, violence and abuse are no longer tolerated. From access to education and civil justice, improvements to detention and asylum practices, all the way through to making workplaces safer and equal for women, Birmingham Solihull Women’s Aid are experts in advocacy and BTSS are excited to support these initiatives.

 

The decision to partner with Birmingham Solihull Women’s Aid was driven by the BTSS charities officer’s personal and professional experiences with domestic abuse. BTSS believes there is no excuse for abuse and our commitment to fundraising reflects our passion to making a difference. We are dedicated to carrying this passion forward through our events throughout the year to support those whose voices have been silenced.
